Urlacher Now Listed as Questionable

Lake Forest - The Bears have enough to worry about with Randy Moss lining up against a battered secondary. Well you can add one more thing to the list, as Brian Urlacher missed Friday's practice after re-aggravating the hamstring that forced him to miss training camp and the entire preseason.

Urlacher led the tackles in the team's two games and has shown no carryover with the injury. With Mike Brown and Charles Tillman casualties of the Week 2 win at Green Bay the Bears need Urlacher on the field.

"When you're dealing with those hamstrings, you never know for sure exactly how it will be," Lovie Smith said.

Despite being listed as questionable on the injury report, there's little doubt the four-time Pro Bowl middle linebacker will suit up on Sunday. He has started 64 consecutive games, which is the longest running streak on the team.

If Urlacher can't go, Hunter Hillenmeyer would get his first NFL start.

Also listed as questionable are G Mike Gandy (hamstring), DT Terry Johnson (groin), and S Cameron Worrell (hamstring).

If Johnson were unable to go that would leave the Bears thin on the interior of the defensive line. The rookie is scheduled to start for Alfonso Boone, who is out with a right knee sprain. The options would be Ian Scott or Israel Idonije. Michael Haynes could also see time at defensive tackle in the nickel package.

Marcus Reese (hamstring) has been upgraded to probable and will split time at strong-side linebacker with Joe Odom.

Minnesota Vikings Probable: RB Mewelde Moore (Shoulder) Questionable: RB Michael Bennett (Knee), RB Moe Williams (Ankle) Doubtful: Out: TE Jermaine Wiggins (Hand).
