Bears announce 2002 ticket prices

LAKE FOREST, IL - The Chicago Bears announced their ticket prices for the 2002 season today. The Bears are scheduled to play their home games at Memorial Stadium at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign while the new stadium at Soldier Field is being constructed. Single-game ticket prices for the Bears at Memorial Stadium will be $40, $45, $55 and $65.

The Bears are currently accepting deposits for 10-game ticket packages which includes two preseason opponents (Denver and Jacksonville) and the eight-game home regular season slate including the Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Philadelphia Eagles, New England Patriots and New York Jets. Dates and times will be announced by the NFL at a later date.

The Bears are not requiring current season ticket holders to purchase tickets to retain their seating priority when the Bears open their new stadium at Soldier Field in 2003. Current Bears' season ticket holders will receive preference and upgrade priority at Memorial Stadium.
