QB Ryan Dinwiddie has the chance to be the first starting quarterback for the Hamburg Sea Devils, who are in their first year of existence. The Boise State product spent time in camp last year before being cut and eventually landing on the practice squad later in the season.

NFL teams have allocated a record 266 players to play in Europe this spring. Of those, 102 were assigned to NFLEL teams, with a further 141 being selected in the annual NFL Allocated Player draft. Additional players, including kickers and punters, will be assigned during training camp, which opens in Tampa Bay early next month. Bear PK Nick Setta is among those included in that group.
A total of 265 players with NFLEL experience appeared on NFL rosters during this past season.
The thirteenth NFLEL season kicks off on the weekend of April 2-3, with the World Bowl XIII to be played in Düsseldorf on Saturday June 11.
