Bears Finalize Preseason Schedule

While the full attention of the organization is on the draft, the Bears will suit up for the preseason in less than four months. The team has finalized the remainder of their exhibition schedule, which will total five games this year.

The Bears will open the preseason by playing the Miami Dolphins in the NFL Hall of Fame game to be broadcasted on Monday Night Football. The final four games will be broadcast by WMAQ-TV (NBC5) and simulcast with Spanish commentary on Telemundo Chicago.

In an off-season in which the radio broadcast trio has been trimmed to two, the Bears decided to keep an icon around. Mike Ditka recently signed a three-year contract extension and will return as the Bears preseason television color analyst, a position he's held since 2000. He will be joined in the booth by Dave Barnett, who returns for his second season of providing play-by-play for the Bears preseason television broadcast team.
