For the second time in three weeks, the offense produced just one touchdown in defeat.

FIRST QUARTER: WR Chad Johnson 18-yard touchdown from QB Carson Palmer at 13:46. The Bengals took advantage of a Bear turnover on their first offensive play of the game. Kyle Orton went to Justin Gage, who bobbled the ball and Brian Simmons picked off the pass. He fumbled during the return, but Odell Thurman recovered the ball and took to the Chicago 18. Palmer threaded the needle to Johnson, who was covered by Charles Tillman and Mike Brown. PAT by Shayne Graham was good. Drive: 1 play, 18 yards in 0:05. Bengals 7, Bears 0.

THIRD QUARTER: WR Chris Henry 36-yard touchdown reception from Carson Palmer at 7:03. Orton fifth interception killed a Bears drive. Rudi Johnson carried four times for 22 yards. Palmer completed 2-of-3 passes for 48 yards. Henry beat Tillman deep with help from Chris Harris. PAT by Graham was good. Drive: 7 plays, 70 yards in 2:58. Bengals 17, Bears 0.

FOURTH QUARTER: RB Thomas Jones 2-yard touchdown run at 13:30. Orton connected with Mark Bradley and Bobby Wade to convert third downs. The rookie went to Bradley for 15 yards on 4th and 10. Two Bengals penalties resulted in first downs, including a personal foul on former Bear Bryan Robinson. Jones touched the ball on 8 (7 rushes, 1 reception) of the 14 plays of the drive for 15 yards. PAT by Doug Brien was good. Drive 14 plays, 70 yards in 5:31.

Chad Johnson 40-yard TD reception from Palmer at 11:56. The Bengals quickly responded to the Chicago score. Palmer hit Johnson for 19 yards to start the possession. Two plays later he went back to Johnson after Nathan Vasher whiffed on an attempted jam and the receiver walked into the end zone. PAT by Graham was good. Drive: 3 plays, 62 yards in 1:34.
