Plans after football: "Maybe graduate school, or go into business. At one time, I wanted to be a firefighter or part of the California Highway Patrol. I'm concentrating on football right now so I haven't given it too much thought recently"

Favorite food: Anything Mexican

Favorite TV Show: I love MASH

Favorite movie: ‘Man on Fire' That Denzel, he's The Man.

Favorite video game: Gran Turismo.

Mentors growing up? "My family and my coaches."

Any sport of interest to you besides football: "I was a pretty good basketball player. A lot of people thought that would be my path. I love following the Lakers."

First car: "An ‘87 Honda Accord. It was so ugly but it ran really well. That car got me through college."

What did you do with your signing bonus? "What signing bonus? I'm lucky to be here."

First/best football memory: "We played Division I Nebraska and I got my first catch. I took it in for a TD. Unfortunately it was called back because of a penalty, but to me, it was and will always be my touchdown."

Any advice for high school or college players hoping to make it into the NFL? "Study, spend a lot of time with your books. Develop a strong work ethic. It wills serve you well throughout your life. Be dedicated to what you love. It will pay off."
