Scoring Summary: Bears 10, Ravens 6

Chicago - As expected, the matchup between two of the top defenses in the game resulted in a low scoring affair. FB Marc Edwards accounted for the only touchdown on the day.

FIRST QUARTER: FB Marc Edwards 9-yard touchdown reception from QB Kyle Orton at 0:19. Thomas Jones had two runs of 14 yards against the vaunted Baltimore defense. Two penalties hurt the Ravens, a roughing the passer call on Adalius Thomas and later Dale Carter was flagged for holding Bobby Wade, which gave the Bears another first down when they would have had to punt. TE Desmond Clark made a 13-yard grab to move the ball inside the red zone. Orton used play action to Jones and found Edwards wide open for his second TD catch of the season. PAT by Robbie Gould was good. Drive: 8 plays, 78 yards in 3:35. Bears 7, Ravens 0.

SECOND QUARTER: K Matt Stover 40-yard field goal at 8:46. The Ravens started with good field position and took advantage of the short field. A 13-yard completion on third down from QB Anthony Wright to WR Randy Hynes moved the chains and put the Ravens in Chicago territory for the first time on the day. A holding call on Keydrick Vincent put Baltimore in 1st and 20, but Wright avoided a blitz from Nathan Vasher to find WR Derrick Mason for 20 yards. The defense stiffened from there and held the Ravens to a field goal. Drive: 8 plays, 34 yards in 3:49.

Stover with a 29-yard field goal at 0:26. Again, the Ravens took advantage of field position near midfield to chip away the Bears lead. Wright went 7-for-7 on the drive for 66 yards. Three of the completions went to TE Todd Heap for 28 yards. The Bears also let Baltimore convert a 3rd and 15 on an 18-yard completion from Wright to Mason. Despite getting into the red zone the Ravens failed to put the ball in the end zone. Drive: 12 plays, 54 yards in 6:09. Bears 7, Ravens 6.

THIRD QUARTER: K Robbie Gould 23-yard field goal at 2:52. Thanks to two personal foul penalties the Bears were able to get back one of the Baltimore field goals. Patrick Johnson was flagged for a late hit on Bobby Wade's punt return. Then Terrell Suggs hit Orton late on third down that allowed the possession to continue. Orton went to Clark for a third down conversion, but the drive stalled inside the 20 and led to Gould's first field goal at Soldier Field. Drive: 8 plays, 40 yards in 4:17. Bears 10, Ravens 6.
