While the Bears got touchdowns from Justin Gage and Adrian Peterson in their 20-17 victory over the Saints, it was Robbie Gould that came up with the game-winner.

FIRST QUARTER: John Carney 22-yard field goal by 12:19. A 45-yard kickoff by Aaron Stecker to open the game gave the Saints a short field to work with. RB Antowain Smith busted a 42-yard run to setup first and goal from the 3. However, the Bears defense forced New Orleans to settle for a field goal. Drive: 6 plays, 48 yards in 2:41. Saints 3, Bears 0.

WR Justin Gage 4-yard touchdown reception from QB Kyle Orton at 6:26. Following an interception of Orton, the Saints were in position to add to their lead until a big hit by Nathan Vasher knocked the ball from Stecker, Chris Harris recovered the fumble and returned it 53 yards. On first down Mike McKenzie was flagged for pass interference on Muhsin Muhammad to move the chains. On third and 7, Thomas Jones picked up 16 yards on a draw. After misfiring on a potential TD pass to Muhammad, Orton hit Gage for the receiver's first score of the season. PAT by Robbie Gould was good. Drive: 7 plays, 38 yards in 2:06. Bears 7, Saints 3.

SECOND QUARTER: WR Donte Stallworth 15-yard touchdown reception from QB Aaron Brooks at 9:57. The Saints started deep in their own territory, but methodically marched down the field thanks to four third down conversions. Smith carried four times for 28 yards, including a 19-yard gain. Brooks went 5-of-5 for 48 yards. PAT by Carney was good. Drive 14 plays, 95 yards in 8:30. Saints 10, Bears 7.

K Robbie Gould 35-yard field goal at 0:27. Orton struggled for much of the first half, but hit 4-of-8 for 52 yards, including a 33-yard connection with Muhammad to help tie the game just before the half. Drive: 9 plays 52 yards in 1:16. Bears 10, Saints 10.

THIRD QUARTER: RB Adrian Peterson 6-yard touchdown run at 7:29. Orton threw his third interception on the drive, but another pass interference penalty on McKenzie negated the pick. The running game had success without Jones, who left because of his ribs. Four rushes yielded 61 yards, including a 37-yard jaunt by Peterson. Drive: 6 plays, 95 yards in 3:22. PAT by Gould was good. Bears 17, Saints 10.

FOURTH QUARTER: QB Aaron Brooks 1-yard touchdown run at 7:38. A Stecker run coupled with a personal foul penalty on Israel Idonije for a facemask foul turned into a 24-yard play. Brooks completed 3-of-3 for 35 yards. A 14-yard run by Smith put him over 100 yards on the day and setup the touchdown. PAT by Carney was good. Drive: 11 plays, 80 yards in 6:32.

K Robbie Gould 28-yard field goal at 0:06. Benson started the possession with a 27-yard run to put the Bears in New Orleans territory. Orton hit Muhammad along the sidelines for 22 yards on third and five. The Bears ran down the clock and Gould took care of the chip shot field goal. Drive: 10 plays, 65 yards in 4:02.
