Scoring Summary: Bears 24, Packers 17

The Bears scored in a variety of ways against the Packers and it proved to be just enough to get their first sweep over Green Bay since 1991.

FIRST QUARTER: WR Muhsin Muhammad 12-yard touchdown reception from QB Rex Grossman at 5:00. It didn't take long for Grossman to find a rhythm, as he completed 5-of-6 passes for 65 yards. He converted two third down opportunities, including a 21-yard pass to Bernard Berrian. It's the first time the Bears have scored on their opening drive since Week 2 against Detroit. SECOND QUARTER: RB Noah Herron 1-yard touchdown run at 12:05. While it wasn't flashy, the Packers slowly marched down the field behind Brett Favre completing 5-of-7 passes for 60 yards. A touchdown pass was called back because of a holding call, but on the following play a Chris Harris pass interference foul negated an interception by Mike Green. PAT by Ryan Longwell was good. RB Thomas Jones 1-yard touchdown run at 5:05. Grossman used play-action to go over the top of the Green Bay secondary for a 54-yard completion to Berrian. DE Mike Montgomery was called for roughing the passer, which tacked on 15 yards to the play. With first and goal, DT Corey Williams was called for defensive holding. Jones punched the ball in the end zone on the following play for his ninth touchdown of the year. PAT by Gould was good. Drive: 3 plays, 72 yards in 1:02. Bears 14, Packers 7.

THIRD QUARTER: K Robbie Gould 45-yard field goal at 9:39. Grossman only completed one pass on the possession, but it was an 18-yard touch pass to Berrian. Drive: 6 plays, 33 yards in 2:15. Bears 17, Packers 7.

LB Lance Briggs 10-yard interception return for a touchdown at 4:06. It's Briggs third career score and second return of a Favre interception for a touchdown. PAT by Gould was good. Bears 24, Packers 7.

FOURTH QUARTER: Antonio Chatman 85-yard punt return for a touchdown at 7:54. With the game seemingly over, the momentum swung in Green Bay's favor thanks to an excellent run by Chatman. He took the ball and weaved to the other side of the field and turned on his speed to get past Brad Maynard. PAT by Longwell was good. Bears 24, Packers 14.

Ryan Longwell 26-yard field goal at 1:54. Favre completed passes of 14, 11 and 33 yards to quickly give Green Bay first and goal.
