Offensive Depth Chart

The Bears have done little to change the makeup of the roster from a year ago, but there will be changes in the depth chart by the start of the 2006 season. Here's an early look at how the first and second team offense shapes up compared to a year ago.

There are only four changes in the projected starting lineup on an offense that finished 29th in the league last season. However, the turnover comes from good health rather than new personnel.

When healthy, Rex Grossman will be under center, while the same can be said for Mark Bradley and Bryan Johnson at their respective positions. Roberto Garza will head to training camp with the inside track to left guard job, replacing Terrence Metcalf.

Obviously the draft is likely to change the situation at tight end, but for now Desmond Clark holds onto the top spot. The lower portion of the depth will also be reshaped following the draft, with potential additions on the offensive line at wide receiver.
