NFL Europe Review: Week 8

As the season enters the stretch run, three teams have separated themselves from the pack.

Cologne Centurions 20, Amsterdam Admirals 13
CB Abraham Elimimian, who has started all eight games for Amsterdam, finished with six tackles and a special teams stop. WR Craig Bragg also got the start and caught two passes for 18 yards, while returning two punts for seven yards. Reserve LB Jeremy Cain posted six tackles. Amsterdam fell to 6-2 after their first loss since Week 1.

LB Josh Dean saw the field in reserve for the Centurions, who improved to 3-5.

Hamburg Sea Devils 38, Berlin Thunder 14
Two Bears helped the Sea Devils (1-6-1) come up with their first victory of the year. CB Willie Amos had two tackles, a pass break-up and three special teams stops. LB Justin Smith had three tackles in reserve duty.

Berlin QB B.J. Symons completed 3 of 6 passes for 27 yards, as the Thunder dropped to 2-5-1.

Frankfurt Galaxy 16, Rhein Fire 14
The Galaxy won their fifth straight game to move into a first place tie with Amsterdam at 6-2. The Fire are 5-3 after the loss and one game out of a World Bowl bid with two games left on the schedule.

Week 9
Sunday Berlin is at Cologne, Rhein travels to Hamburg and Frankfurt hosts Amsterdam in a first place clash.
