No. 241 Selection: OT Aaron Brant

The Bears needed to come out of this year's draft with at least one guard and at least one tackle, and they've done just that. Although many experts figured Jerry Angelo would address those needs on Day 1, he instead waited until Day 2. After adding guard Josh Beekman in the fourth round, tackle Aaron Brant comes to the Windy City in the seventh.

Offensive tackle Aaron Brant
On how much contact he had with the Bears before they drafted him:
"They called me way back in March to set up a visit so I could fly in, and [offensive line coach Harry Hiestand] ended up coming out and working me out one day after the Pro Day. And since then, they kept in touch a little just making sure they had my numbers for draft day. And they have been on the radar the entire time."

On how he would describe himself as a player:
"Hardworking. That's just the kind of guy that I am. I am not going to chirp up or say too much stuff around the bush. I am just the kind of guy that is going to step in and do what they ask of me."
