2007 Training Camp Information

Olivet Nazarene Univerity will be the training camp home of the Chicago Bears for the sixth consecutive year. Coming off of last season's appearance in Super Bowl XLI, the Monsters of the Midway are primed for another run at the Vince Lombardi Trophy. And as always, BearReport.com will have a front-row seat for every event until the team makes its way back to Halas Hall for the regular season.

BEARS TRAINING CAMP: July 27 – August 18, 2007

The Bears return to Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, IL for the sixth consecutive season. The site, approximately 60 miles south of Chicago, provides the Bears with four practice fields, air-conditioned locker rooms and dining facility, a weight room, meeting rooms, and dorms for players, staff, media and guests.

FAN INFORMATION: The gates to training camp open one hour prior to the start of all day practice sessions and two hours prior to the start of all night practice sessions. Admission is free to the public for all training camp practice sessions except for the special events listed in the next paragraph.

SPECIAL EVENTS: The following "theme days" have been scheduled for Bears training camp. Tuesday, July 31 at 5:00 p.m. is Bears Family Night at ONU, a free practice with other family activities held in ONU Stadium followed by a fireworks extravaganza set to music. Wednesday, August 8 at 9:00 a.m. is the Run with Staley, a one-mile run around campus for kids 14 years old and under led by Staley to celebrate his fifth birthday. Sunday, July 29 is Comcast Hispanic Day. Sunday, August 5 at 7:00 p.m. is Chicago Sun-Times Bears Family Night at Soldier Field presented by Chase, a ticketed practice held at Soldier Field. Tickets for the event will be available for purchase by logging onto TicketMaster.com.
