"The NFL, seemingly consumed with money and marketing, has a history of dictating what its on-field personnel can wear during games. Just ask Jim McMahon, who was fined $5,000 for wearing an Adidas headband during a 1985 game." Read the rest of Greenstein Right Here ...

In the Daily Herald, Kent McDill discovers that Bears fans are starting to pay the price for the team's Super Bowl success last season in terms of this season's ticket prices. "The Bears have announced that 73 percent of all available seats will have a $5 increase, while the remaining non-club seats will have an increase of $8 or $9. Two of the three club-seat categories will have an increase of $5 to $20, while the third category price remains unchanged." Read the rest of McDill Right Here ...

The thing that's going to happen this year is we're not going to catch anybody by surprise. Teams are spending the offseason looking at ways to stop Devin." Here at BearReport.com, John Crist conducts yet another installment of his Friday Q&A feature called Special Delivery. "I understand that Vick doesn't have quite the laundry list of offenses that Johnson did, but it's not like he's been a model citizen during his NFL career. And the sheer nature of these dog-fighting allegations is so disturbing that Vick himself should volunteer to leave the team in order to get his life in order. You'd be a fool to think that he is not somehow involved in all of this with the mountain of evidence piling up against him, and federal grand juries have a stunning success rate when it comes to getting convictions."
