BearReport Audio: OG Josh Beekman

It's no secret that the Bears need to get younger along the offensive line in the near future, so GM Jerry Angelo selected guard/center Josh Beekman out of Boston College in the fourth round of this past April's NFL Draft. Beekman spent some time with after Wednesday's training camp practice, and subscribers can listen to that interview right here.

John Crist: It's believed that the Bears have one of the easiest camps in the NFL. Back at Boston College, you guys beat each other up every day. How much of a difference have you seen already?

Josh Beekman: Well, I think they don't beat each other up as much. I think they know the quality of the work they need, and that's what they execute. That's what they look for. They don't think they need to run 40 plays to get 10 quality ones. They want to run 10 quality plays when they have 10 plays to run. So I think that's a big difference, and that's what they do. Playing behind this veteran O-line that I am, I mean I'm learning a lot. Just little things that I need to clean up and take coaching from my coach how to improve my game and how to fine tune every little detail. And it's a great honor being here for the Chicago Bears.
