BearReport Audio: Femi Ayanbadejo

Obafemi Ayanbadejo better have enjoyed playing in the exhibition finale against the Browns. He will sit out the first four games of the season after testing positive for a banned substance, but he promises to be ready to go come Week 5. Ayanbadejo spent some time with in the locker room after Thursday's loss, and subscribers can listen to that interview right here.

John Crist: You're staring a four-game suspension in the face and can't even be at the facility until Week 5. How do you keep yourself in game shape so that you're ready to go when you come back?

Obafemi Ayanbadejo:
Staying in shape is not a problem. I'll come back a little bigger, a little stronger, very prepared mentally. All I'm going to do is just go home and just train. I'll be in the city a little bit, but mainly I'll be home training in San Diego. That's where I live. I have my trainer there. I have a good supporting group there. I think it would be tough to be in the city all the time when guys are practicing, and I can't be around. I don't want to be a distraction for anybody, you know what I mean? I can't be at the facility anyway, so it's not like they're going to see me. I think that I'll be patient, and hopefully things go the way they were planned to go. I'll sit out my four games and come back for the Green Bay Packers game.
