McMillon played in ten games and started one before having season ending surgery. He's expected to fully recover and should be ready for April's mini-camp. However, the Bears having numerous young cornerbacks it's unclear whether or not McMillon will be retained.

R.W. McQuarters and Jerry Azumah will almost definitely be the starters, while Roosevelt Williams and Travis Coleman earned valuable experience during their rookie campaigns. Reggie Austin's future is in doubt considering he's coming off knee surgery and could miss part of training camp.

The Bears could look to add depth in the secondary via the draft or free agency, but for now McMillon is the only experienced backup.

Although, McMillon has only been in the NFL for three seasons he spent three seasons in the CFL before he signed with the Bears in 2000.

Likelihood McMillon will return: 50-50
