Sunday Snapshot: Rams vs. Bears

The Scout.com NFL experts chip in with everything you need to know just ahead of Sunday's matchup between the 1-10 St. Louis Rams and 4-7 Chicago Bears at Soldier Field in Week 13.

SUNDAY SNAPSHOT
Kickoff: 12:00 p.m. Central
Surface: Grass
Television: FOX – Dick Stockton, Trent Green
Series: 89th regular-season meeting. The Bears won 27-3 at the Edward Jones Dome last season, as RB Matt Forte had a season-high 139 yards on 21 carries and scored two touchdowns. The Chicago defensive line also had a big day, producing five sacks and two each for Adewale Ogunleye and Tommie Harris. The last time St. Louis traveled to Soldier Field was 2003, a 23-21 Rams victory that saw Marc Bulger get the best of Chris Chandler.

KEYS TO THE GAME
The Rams need a strong start because their offensive line struggled to protect QB Kyle Boller when Seattle was able to get aggressive with a big lead last Sunday. RB Steven Jackson is battling a back injury, but his production is critical as Boller is also working with a very young receiving corps. The Bears' ground game has been an Achilles' heel all season, but this is a good week to get Forte going against the Rams' tackling-deficient defense (148.5 rushing yards allowed per game).

FAST FACTS
Boller has lost his past nine starts, including three this season. ... Bears QB Jay Cutler's 74.4 passer rating is nearly 13 points lower than his career average of 87.1 entering the season.
