The season may be over for high school hoops but AAU play is already underway. We caught up with one of the state's top sophomore prospects, T.L. Hanna guard Brevin Galloway as he talks about his most recent college visit.
"Wofford is the last school that I went and visited with. It went well. All the coaches, and even the trainers knew my name and made me feel like they wanted me."
"My favorite part of the visit was meeting the coaches. Their staff is real cool and all the coaches made an effort to talk to me."
The Terriers fresh off an appearance in the NCAA Tournament hosted Galloway back in February made an impression on Galloway due to that tourney berth.
"Yeah it showed that they have a winning program, to win their conference and get to the dance."
Galloway talked about what the Terriers had to say to him.
"I went to Wofford's elite camp last summer where they first saw me. They said they liked how I shot the ball well and how I could run a team and score too."
As we previously mentioned Galloway already holds one offer, from UNC-Wilmington. Their head coach Buzz Peterson was fired recently and Galloway talked about it.
"I will visit UNC-Wilmington sometime this summer. Coach Peterson getting fired doesn't really affect me I never really had time to build a bond with them."
Galloway will run with the Upward Stars on the AAU circuit this Spring/Summer.
"Our first tourney is April 4-6 at the Icebreaker in Augusta. I'll be playing with the 16U's but I'll be playing with the 17U's some tournaments.
