Ogbuehi/Porter Officially Clear For Practice

It's official. The Bengals say rookie offensive tackle Cedric Ogbuehi and third-year linebacker Sean Porter have resumed practicing with the team following stays on injured lists.

The Bengals today officially cleared rookie offensive tackle Cedric Ogbuehi and third-year linebacker Sean Porter to resume practicing with the team.

They may practice without counting against the 53-player roster limit for a period of up to 21 days.

Both players remain on the reserve lists where they were placed Sept. 1.

Ogbuehi (pronounced “o-BWAY-hee”) was the Bengals’ first-round selection in the 2015 NFL Draft, 21st overall.

It was known he would not be ready to play in roughly the season’s first half, due to a knee injury he suffered in his final college game for Texas A&M, in December of 2014.

Porter has been out due to a knee injury that predated the opening of Bengals training camp.

Both players could be activated to the roster at any time during the 21-day period, per club decision, but they will not play this week against Houston on Monday Night Football.
