Bengals Hump Day Hoopla: Dalton 3rd In Voting

Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton is more popular than The Gronk in latest Pro Bowl voting.

Score another one for Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton, who is in the middle of an MVP-caliber career season in Cincinnati.

The fifth-year player is third in Pro Bowl fan voting at the quarterback position with 114,368 votes, and third overall in voting among all NFL players.

Dalton trails only New England quarterback Tom Brady’s 141,750 votes and Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers’ 120,242.

Behind Dalton but in the top five in the overall vote tally are Atlanta running back Devonta Freeman (103,334) and New England tight end Rob Gronkowski (101,674).

The Bengals' Geno Atkins, with 54,816 votes, leads defensive tackles.

Atkins has over 6,000 votes more second-place Aaron Donald (48,125) of St. Louis.
