Bengals TGIF: Help Feed The Hungry

Coach Marvin Lewis encourages fans to pay it forward Monday night and participate in the Bengals' 29th annual canned food drive: "We’re asking all the fans to turn out and either bring canned foods to be donated, or cash donations."

From the Bengals:

The Cincinnati Bengals and the Freestore Foodbank are teaming up again for the Annual Canned Food Drive.

Canned foods and cash donations will be collected at Paul Brown Stadium Monday night, November 16, prior to the Bengals' home game against the Houston Texans.

Gates open at 7:00 P.M. Non-perishable foods and cash donations will be accepted at each entrance to Paul Brown Stadium by Freestore Foodbank volunteers. Food products will be collected in U-Haul U-Box Containers.

This marks the 29th year that the Bengals have hosted the canned food drive for the Freestore Foodbank.

In 2014, Bengals fans generously contributed 6,294 pounds of food and $17,356.03 in cash donations. The Bengals are challenging fans to break that record this year.

Bengals fans are reminded that every contribution makes a difference for Tri-State families in need. Please show your support this holiday season and bring canned food or cash donation to the Bengals/Texans game on Monday night, November 16.

“This Monday night outside PBS, there will be volunteers collecting for the annual Freestore canned food drive that benefits the Freestore Foodbank," Bengals coach Marvin Lewis said. "We’re asking all the fans to turn out and either bring canned foods to be donated, or cash donations. Each and every year this has grown larger and larger, so hopefully we have a great turnout.”
