Bengals Have The 24th Overall Pick In 2016 NFL Draft

The Bengals have been assigned pick No. 24 in the first round of this year's draft, down three spots from last year.

With the conclusion of the NFL's Wild Card weekend, four more teams, including the Bengals, can be added to the 2016 NFL Draft order.

Cincinnati is slated to have the 24th pick for the fourth time in franchise history. Last year, the Bengals had pick No. 21.

The other three Wild Card weekend losers, the Redskins, Texans, and Vikings are also assigned. Ties are broken in reverse order of strength of schedule.

The last time the Bengals had selection No. 24 was in 2014 when they took Michigan State cornerback Darqueze Dennard, who has yet to live up to his draft pick.

Previously, they picked 24th in 2006, and also went cornerback, taking South Carolina's Johnathan Joseph.

In 1976, the Bengals famously selected two-time Ohio State Heisman Trophy-winning tailback Archie Griffin with their second first-round pick of the draft, No. 24 overall.

Here is the updated draft order for the 24 teams out of the playoffs.
