Buffalo Bills Downgrade Two Players to Out

The Buffalo Bills will be short-handed at both the wide receiver position as well as on the offensive line on Sunday against the Houston Texans.

The Buffalo Bills will be without both Marquise Goodwin and Chris Williams when they take on the Texans, according to their team website. This creates an opportunity for Chris Hogan to see additional reps this week at the position with Goodwin, and Marcus Easley, both ruled out this week. The Bills will only have four wide receivers healthy for this game.

Chris Williams was listed on the injury report with a back injury and was a long shot to play this week. A replacement has yet to be named between Kraig Urbik and Cyril Richardson, who both took snaps this week at the position. The veteran Urbik filled in against San Diego when Williams left the game with the injury but struggled at times.

I think the Bills are going to go with Richardson this week to see exactly what they have with the rookie. Neither Chris Williams nor Kraig Urbik has been really effective this year and if Richardson has a strong game, he could keep the starter position going forward.
