Bills vs. Texans Halftime Update

The Buffalo Bills jumped out to an early 10-point lead but gave up a touchdown late to let the Houston Texans get within three before halftime.

Score: Buffalo 10, Houston 7

The Buffalo Bills did exactly what they wanted to do for 29 minutes, but let up in the final minute of the first half. Ryan Fitzpatrick and the Houston Texans took advantage with a long touchdown to get within three points.

Before the Texans touchdown, the Bills were able to force turnovers, controlled the clock and even were able to score a touchdown in the red zone. The concern for the Bills has to be the fact that he threw the ball 25 times in the first half and only ran it 14 times. The second half the Bills really need to get back to running the ball because they have had success doing it gaining 72 yards and averaging 5.1 yards per carry.

In the end, the Bills really controlled this first half and if they continue to play like they did over the final 30 minutes like they did the first 30 minutes, they should be able to move to 3-1.
