Notes

  • The only two players already ruled out is wide receiver Marcus Easley and left guard Chris Williams. Neither of these should come as a big surprise as Easley is expected to be out a few more weeks with the knee injury. Williams on the other hand has been dealing with back problems all season and really hasn't been very effective in games. A strong game from Cyril Richardson will help his case to be a starting guard.
  • Nigel Bradham and Kyle Williams, who are both dealing with knee injuries suffered against Houston, participated in practice on a limited basis Friday. This is certainly a step in the right direction since today would be the first day either has practiced this week. It would be a surprise to me to see either on the field Sunday.
  • The team does look to be getting healthier at wide receiver as both Sammy Watkins and Marquise Goodwin were full participants all week and listed on the report as probable. There is no reason not to expect both Watkins and Goodwin suiting up against the Lions.
