Pegulas Approved As New Buffalo Bills Owners

Terry and Kim Pegula were unanimously approved as new owners of the Buffalo Bills at the NFL owners meeting.

Terry and Kim Pegula became the new owners of the Buffalo Bills on Wednesday.

At the NFL owners meeting, the first order of business was voting on whether to approve the Pegulas as new owners of the Bills. The sale was unanimously approved by fellow NFL owners.

Terry and Kim Pegula acquired the Bills for $1.4 billion. They beat out Donald Trump and a group headed by Jon Bon Jovi. The $1.4 billion was quite a bit more than Ralph C. Wilson paid for the team in 1959. The original owner of the team paid $25,000 for the Bills.

The Pegula family now owns the Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres.
