Bills Release S Jerome Couplin

Jerome Couplin's stay on the Buffalo Bills roster didn't last long. It's believed that Couplin was released so that the Bills can add a defensive end to their roster. Buffalo currently has three healthy options at the position due to Jarius Wynn's knee injury.

The Buffalo Bills have released safety Jerome Couplin. The Bills claimed Couplin off of waivers on November 3 from the Detroit Lions. Couplin was brought onto the roster after safety Kenny Ladler was placed on the injured reserve.

It's believed that Couplin was released so that the Bills can add a defensive end to their roster. Jairus Wynn, the team's best reserve defensive end, injured his knee against the Kansas City Chiefs. Buffalo currently has Mario Williams, Jerry Hughes and Manny Lawson as healthy options at the position.
