Fred Jackson Unlikely to Play on TNF

Buffalo's emotional leader on offense is unlikely to play on Thursday Night Football as he recovers from a groin injury. Buffalo will depend upon Anthony Dixon and Bryce Brown to carry the load against the Miami Dolphins.

It's looking like the Buffalo Bills will be without Fred Jackson on Thursday Night Football. Tim Graham of The Buffalo News reported today that it's unlikely that Jackson plays.

Jackson, an emotional leader on the field, is recovering from a groin injury. The running back suffered the injury against the Minnesota Vikings and returned on Sunday to play against the Kansas City Chiefs. Jackson was limited on Sunday and only ran the ball three times for 10 yards. He also caught four passes for 39 yards against the Chiefs.

Buffalo will depend upon Anthony Dixon and Bryce Brown against the Miami Dolphins. Dixon had his best game with the Bills on Sunday, rushing for 62 yards on nine carries. Brown was also very active for the Bills last week. He rushed for 35 yards on seven carries and led the team in receiving with 65 yards on six receptions.
