Bills Claim Marcus Thigpen on Waivers

The Buffalo Bills were looking for a kick returner. On Wednesday, the team claimed Marcus Thigpen off of waivers.

The Buffalo Bills claimed KR/WR Marcus Thigpen off waivers from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Wednesday. To make room for Thigpen, the Bills released DE Bryan Johnson. Johnson was recently added to the 53-man roster after Jarius Wynn injured his knee.

Thigpen will likely be active for the remainder of the season as the team's kick returner. Buffalo's top two return men, C.J. Spiller and Leodis McKelvin, are both out with injuries. This season, Thigpen has spent time with the New England Patriots, Miami Dolphins and Buccaneers.
