Jackson Named Bills "Man of the Year"

Fred Jackson was selected as the Buffalo Bills' honoree for the Walter Payton Man of the Year award. This is the second time the running back has been selected by the Bills.

The Buffalo Bills named Fred Jackson as their 2014 Walter Payton Man of the Year honoree. This is the second time the Bills have selected Jackson for the award. He was the team's recipient in 2010. 

The Walter Payton Man of the Year award is given to a player based upon his volunteer and charity work. Now, Jackson and 31 other nominees will be evaluated by a panel of judges. The overall winner will get a $25,000 donation to the charity of his choice. The other 31 candidates will get $1,000 donations to the charity of their choice. No Bills player has won the $25,000 donation to date.
