C.J. Spiller Cleared to Return

The Buffalo Bills are in the midst of a playoff push. To help, the Bills will soon activate their most explosive back to the 53-man roster.

C.J. Spiller was cleared on Monday and the Buffalo Bills will soon activate the running back to their active roster. Spiller has been out since breaking his collarbone in Week 7 against the Minnesota Vikings. Following the injury, the Bills placed Spiller on the injured reserve list

The injury came on Spiller's only rush of the game, a 53 yard carry. This remains Buffalo's longest run from scrimmage this season. Following the injury, the Bills placed Spiller on the injured reserve/designated to return list.

When Spiller is activated, the Bills will need to open a roster spot on their 53-man roster.
