Teams Bills Fans Must Cheer for in Week 16

Buffalo has a five percent chance of making the playoffs. The odds are long, but the Bills have a chance if the following teams win in Week 16.

The Buffalo Bills stayed in the playoff picture by pulling off an upset over the Green Bay Packers. Unfortunately, the team didn't get much help elsewhere in Week 15. Entering this week, the odds of Buffalo making the playoffs is five percent. While it seems unlikely, anything can happen in the NFL. In Week 16, here's who you should root for as a Bills fan.

San Francisco 49ers over the San Diego Chargers

San Francisco defeating San Diego certainly isn't out of the question, but their overall play has been disappointing this season. The 49ers have lost their last three games and are officially eliminated from playoff contention. The Chargers on the otherhand are still in playoff contention at 8-6. San Diego has lost its last two contests so they need a victory to keep their playoff hopes alive. Bills fans can only hope that the 49ers are up to the task of playing the spoiler. This is another game where the Bills need to help as they lost head-to-head to the Chargers.

Pittsburgh Steelers over the Kansas City Chiefs

Much like the 49ers, you don't know which Steelers team is going to show up. Pittsburgh has wins over the Bengals, Ravens and Colts this season but they've also lost to the Browns, Jets and Saints. Kansas City has also struggled as of late, losing three of their last four. It's a shame the Bills have to depend on the Steelers at all, as Buffalo should have defeated the Chiefs earlier this season.

Houston Texans over the Baltimore Ravens

By far, this is the most unlikely outcome. The Texans will be starting former Bills QB Thad Lewis or Case Keenum. Yikes. The Ravens on the other hand have won four of their last five games. Their only loss was by one point to the Chargers. They're playing very good football right now and it'd be quite the surprise to see the Ravens lose to the Texans.

Denver Broncos over the Cincinnati Bengals

This is certainly an outcome that many will predict. Denver hasn't been clicking on all cylinders the last few weeks, so the Bengals have a chance to pull off the upset. Cincinnati is coming off of a 30-0 victory over the Cleveland Browns, but Peyton Manning is not Johnny Manziel. The Broncos should be able to score enough points to defeat the Bengals in Week 16.
