Michigan has Interest in Doug Marrone

The Buffalo Bills have improved by two games in 2014 with two games remaining. Doug Marrone deserves plenty of credit for this. The Michigan Wolverines have taken note of the job Marrone has done and has interest in him being their next head coach.

It appears that Jim Harbaugh isn't the only NFL head coach on the Michigan Wolverines radar. Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports reports that the Wolverines have interest in four other NFL head coaches, including Doug Marrone.

The Buffalo Bills are 8-6 and in the Wild Card hunt. Marrone is far from a perfect coach, but he has already improved the team by two wins in his second season. Marrone is currently 14-16 as Buffalo's head coach.

While it's unlikely that Marrone leaves the Bills for Michigan, he has experience in the college ranks. Before joining the Bills, Marrone coached the Syracuse Orange for four seasons to a 25-25 record.
