Bills/Raiders Halftime Report

Dan Carpenter's 54 yard field goal at the end of the first half brought the Bills within three points.

Someone should remind the Buffalo Bills that they're in the playoff picture.

At halftime, the Bills find themselves trailing the Oakland Raiders 13-10. Buffalo started the scoring with a 42 yard touchdown pass from Kyle Orton to Sammy Watkins. After the score, the Bills offense sputtered. Right before the half, they did put together a drive that resulted in a 54 yard Dan Carpenter field goal.

If the Bills hope to win today's game, the run game needs to get going. At the half, Buffalo's backs have 10 carries for five yards. C.J. Spiller has -8 yards on his three carries.

Defensively, the Bills have struggled since Marcell Dareus left the game with an injury. Following Buffalo's touchdown, the Raiders scored 13 straight points. Derek Carr connected with James Jones on a three yard touchdown pass and Sebastian Janikowski has connected on kicks of 45 and 36 yards.

The Bills will get the ball to start the second half.
