Bills/Patriots Halftime Report

The Buffalo Bills are trying to earn their first win at Gillette Stadium. Currently, the Bills are up 17-6.

The Buffalo Bills hold a 17-6 lead over the New England Patriots at halftime. Buffalo is looking to pick up their first victory over the Patriots at Gillette Stadium.

Kyle Orton had a strong first half and finished 11-of-15 for 143 yards and a touchdown. Robert Woods hauled in the touchdown reception and has three catches for 33 yards at the half.

In the run game, Anthony Dixon scored from one yard out and has 21 yards on four rush attempts. Fred Jackson is leading the way with 29 yards on seven carries. C.J. Spiller has also chipped in with 10 yards and Sammy Watkins has a five yard rush. 

Watkins, who needs 75 yards to reach 1,000 yards on the season, has one catch for 43 yards at halftime. 

Defensively, the Bills have held the Patriots to six points. Tom Brady has been pressured throughout the first half and been sacked once by Stefan Charles. Brady finished the first half 8-of-16 for 80 yards. He's missing two of his biggest weapons in Julian Edelman and Rob Gronkowski.

The Patriots have 48 yards rushing on 13 carries and Brian Tyms is leading New England in receiving with 39 yards on four receptions. New England is likely to rest Brady, Darrelle Revis and a few other starters in the second half.

New England will receive the second half kickoff.
