Bills Request to Interview Broncos OC Gase

The Buffalo Bills will interview Adam Gase on Saturday. Gase is an offensive-minded coach and the Bills certainly struggled on offense in 2014.

The Buffalo Bills have formally seeked permission to interview Adam Gase. Ian Rapoport of was the first to report the story. The Denver Broncos offensive coordinator is in high demand as three other teams have also asked to interview him. On Friday, Gase is interviewing with the Atlanta Falcons and San Francisco 49ers. Gase will meet with the Chicago Bears and Bills on Saturday.

Gase, 36, has plenty of talent at his disposal in Denver, but Peyton Manning believes that his offensive coordinator will be a terrific head coach

"I don't think you need me to sit up here and campaign for him, I guess," Manning said. "Last year I talked to a couple teams on the behalf of him that reached out to me. That may happen again, so I'm certainly glad to share my thoughts, I mean it's pretty well documented my thoughts on him because I don't think he needs me to stand up here and campaign for him. I'm excited he has the opportunity he's going to have this week. He deserves it, I think teams that he talks to will be impressed."

The Bills struggled on offense under Doug Marrone, so interviewing offensive-minded coaches certainly isn't a bad idea by any means.
