Perhaps it'd be easier to name everyone the Buffalo Bills aren't interviewing. In all seriousness, the Bills are throughly exploring all of their options as they look for their next head coach.
The latest two candidates for the job are Colts offensive coordinator Pep Hamilton and Mike Shanahan. Chris Trapasso was first to report Buffalo's interest in Hamilton and Adam Schefter of ESPN later confirmed the news.
Schefter then reported that the Bills are setting up an interview with Shanahan.
"Bills also setting up interview with former Broncos and Redskins HC Mike Shanahan that could occur as early as this weekend, per same source. Shanahan confirmed there have been discussions between he and the Bills."
It's interesting to note that Schefter's report doesn't necessarily say that Shanahan would be interviewing for head coach. The team was looking at Bill Polian as an advisor and it's possible that the Bills could bring in Shanahan for this role.
Needless to say, the Bills are doing their homework as they look to fill their head coaching position.
