A Breakdown of Richie Incognito's Contract

The Buffalo Bills signed Richie Incognito to improve their guard play. If Incognito struggles to succeed, the Bills will not be on the hook to pay him much money. It's a win-win for the team.

Richie Incognito's contract was announced as a one-year, $2.25 million contract. On Tuesday, a breakdown of the contract was released and, as expected, the contract is incentive-laden. Here is a breakdown of Incognito's 2015 salary with the Buffalo Bills.

Base Salary: $900,000 (Non-guaranteed)

Signing Bonus: $100,000

Roster Bonus: $21,875 per game active ($350,000 maximum)

Playing Time Incentive: $800,000 if he plays 75 percent of the snaps.

Workout Bonus: $100,000

The Bills truly have little to lose with this contract. According to Spotrac.com, Incognito's $900,000 base salary currently places him as the 48th highest paid guard in 2015.
