Tom Hanks Impersonates Rex Ryan

In an appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman, Tom Hanks discusses a game he plays with his sons called "Head Coach as Step-dad." Rex Ryan was mentioned and impersonated by Hanks.

Tom Hanks thinks that Rex Ryan, head coach of the Buffalo Bills, would be a pretty fun step-dad.

The actor appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman and did his impersonation of Ryan, Bill Belichick, Tom Coughlin and Jimmy Johnson while discussing a game he plays with his boys called, "Head Coach as Step-dad." When football games are lousy, Hanks and his kids take turns guessing what each head coach would be like as a step-dad. The entire video can be viewed here:

The part on Ryan starts 1:30 into the video. Hanks must not be keeping up on the NFL coaching carousel as he refers to Ryan as the New York Jets' head coach. Letterman corrects him and mentions he's with the Bills. Hanks thinks that Ryan may be the best step-dad of them. Hanks believes that Ryan is the type of guy who gives his children crossbows. In his impersonation, Hanks says, "Are you gonna tell me you have never fired a crossbow?!" After the impersonation, Hanks added, "If he has boys, they all have crossbows."

Hopefully, one of Ryan's sons lets us know whether or not they have crossbows.
