Bills Tender 3 Exclusive Rights Free Agents

Chris Hogan, Corbin Bryant and Justin Brown will return to the Bills in 2015. The team tendered the three players on Thursday.

The Buffalo Bills have tendered WR Chris Hogan, WR Justin Brown and DT Corbin Bryant. All three players were exclusive rights free agents with Buffalo. Tendering these three players ensures that they will play for the Bills in 2015.

Hogan is the most productive player out of the trio. The wide receiver caught 41 passes for 426 yards and four touchdowns in 2014. Hogan was the team’s third most productive receiver.

Bryant also contributed for the Bills in 2014. In 16 games, Bryant had 14 tackles and 1.5 sacks. He provides depth for Buffalo at defensive end in their 3-4 alignment.

Buffalo claimed Brown off of waivers from the Pittsburgh Steelers in early February. The wide receiver caught 12 passes for 94 yards in 2014 with Pittsburgh. He’s a relative unknown for the Bills, but the team needs competition at the position. Buffalo lacks depth behind Sammy Watkins, Robert Woods and Hogan. The Bills need a receiver with height and can only hope that Brown (6’3”) develops in 2015.

The Bills did not tender an offer to Jordan Gay, the team’s kickoff specialist, on Thursday.
