Rex Ryan: We Got Plenty of Weapons

Rex Ryan isn't afraid to run his running backs until they're dehydrated, but he also likes the pass catching weapons on the Bills.

Tom Curran of Comcast SportsNet New England recently interviewed Buffalo Bills head coach Rex Ryan. During the brief interview, Curran asked Ryan about ground and pound and the weapons the Bills have on offense. Here is what Ryan had to say on both topics.

“The great thing about ground and pound, it’s more of the threat of running the football and being efficient running the ball. We added Jerome Felton as well, a Pro Bowl fullback, and Charles Clay, so we got plenty of weapons,” Ryan said. “You're going to respect our run. If you don't, we'll run it and we'll dehydrate our backs. You're going to respect it, and with that it's going to open things up. If you want to make a living going one-on-one coverage against Sammy Watkins, Percy Harvin, Woods, Charles Clay then so be it.”

Curran asked Ryan if he felt the Patriots were ripe for the picking heading into the 2015 season, but Ryan didn’t fall for the bait.

“They’re coming off a Super Bowl, so I don’t know if you can say that,” Ryan chuckled.
