Bills Expect 'Heavy Volume of Calls'

The Buffalo Bills are open to trading down from pick 50. The team also has an idea on which teams may be most interested in the pick.

The Buffalo Bills have two picks on day two of the 2015 NFL draft but the team sounds open to moving down to gain more picks.

Bills General Manager Doug Whaley told the John Murphy Show this evening that business is already picking up.

“Today, the action is starting to pick up. I’m sure once the draft starts and we get closer to our pick, about three or four picks before us, we expect a heavy volume of calls.”

Without a first round pick last night, the Bills were busy trying to see which teams would be most interested in trading up to pick 50.

“We’ve canvassed the whole league,” he said, “but at least we know we can narrow our focus once we get closer. We can pick the teams we know have an interest, and just be more efficient with our time.”

It’ll be interesting to see if the Bills move down in Round 2.
