The Buffalo Bills signed veteran defensive tackle Andre Fluellen on Tuesday. Fluellen has spent the majority of his seven year career with the Detroit Lions, but also had a brief two game stay with the Miami Dolphins in 2012. The Bills currently have seven former Florida State players on their roster.
In his 77-game career, Fluellen has 65 tackles (39 solo), 4.5 sacks and a forced fumble. In 2014, Fluellen had 10 total tackles and two sacks.
Fluellen reported today to Buffalo’s mandatory minicamp. With the Bills, Fluellen will be attempting to win a backup job along Buffalo’s defensive line.
In a corresponding move, the Bills waived defensive back Deon Broomfield.
