Leading up to Wednesday night, the Buffalo Bills had appeared four times on the NFL’s Top 100 Players of 2015. The first four players were all on the defensive side of the ball, but Buffalo finally added an offensive player to the list when LeSean McCoy was named as the No. 29 player on the list.
Last season, McCoy suited up with the Philadelphia Eagles. In Philadelphia, McCoy rushed for 1,319 yards on 312 carries (4.2 YPC) and five touchdowns. He added 155 yards receiving on 28 receptions. Buffalo acquired McCoy in a player-for-player trade, sending Kiko Alonso to the Eagles.
In 2015, McCoy will be featured as Buffalo’s lead back. The Bills plan to utilize a run heavy offense and McCoy is expected to get 300-plus carries this season.
