Two Bills on Top 50 Merchandise Sales List

Two Buffalo Bills cracked the NFL's Top 50 list in terms of merchandise sales.

Tim Yotter of Scout.com published the NFL’s Top 50 in merchandise sales on Thursday and two Buffalo Bills players made the list.

Running back LeSean McCoy led the way for Buffalo at No. 15 on the list. The Bills traded away linebacker Kiko Alonso in the offseason to acquire McCoy. In terms of rushing yards, McCoy has finished as a top four rusher three out of the last four seasons. His acquisition has excited Bills fans entering 2015 and it shows in terms of merchandise sales.

Sammy Watkins entered the list at No. 34. The wide receiver enters his second season with the Bills after an impressive rookie campaign. Watkins finished the 2014 season with 65 receptions, 982 yards and six touchdowns. He was overshadowed by some other rookie receivers, but Watkins’ stats are impressive considering he had E.J. Manuel and Kyle Orton throwing him the ball. Seeing Watkins on the merchandise sales list is no surprise as he has been a fan favorite since the team selected him last year.
