Bills Place Mario Williams on the NFI List

Mario Williams, Leodis McKelvin and Dan Carpenter were all placed on the NFI list on Thursday. All three Buffalo Bills players will need to be medically cleared before they can participate in training camp practices.

The Buffalo Bills placed Mario Williams on the non-football injury list on Thursday. At this time, no reason has been given as to why Williams was placed on the list. Head coach Rex Ryan will be speaking to the media on Friday and may give additional information on Williams' injury.

Williams wasn't the only Bills player to be placed on the non-football injury list. Cornerback Leodis McKelvin and kicker Dan Carpenter were also placed on the NFI list. The three players will need to be medically cleared before they can participate in training camp practices.

Two Bills players were also placed on the active physically unable to perform (PUP) list. Tight end Chris Manhertz and cornerback Cam Thomas were placed on the PUP list because neither player is fit to practice at this time.
