Buffalo Bills hire Pat Meyer

Pat Meyer will serve as the team's football operations specialist while helping Kurt Anderson coach Buffalo's offensive line.

The Buffalo Bills have hired Pat Meyer as their football operations specialist. Meyer was with the Chicago Bears for the last two seasons. In 2013, he served as Chicago’s assistant offensive line coach and was promoted to offensive line coach last season.

Meyer worked with Buffalo during the team’s mandatory minicamp. While his title is football operations specialist, Alex Marvez of FOX Sports reports that Meyer will help Kurt Anderson coach Buffalo’s offensive line during training camp. Considering that offensive line coach Aaron Kromer is on indefinite paid leave, it makes plenty of sense to have Meyer assist Anderson.
