Watch: Fletcher wanted to punch Bills QB

Most Bills fans could probably guess that this was the quarterback who rubbed London Fletcher the wrong way.

London Fletcher had a tremendous 16 year career in the NFL and spent five of those seasons with the Buffalo Bills. During his time in Buffalo, Fletcher racked up 725 combined tackles, 14.5 sacks, 18 passes defensed and five interceptions. One thing Fletcher didn’t do during his tenure with the Bills? Punch one of his teammates.

In light of the I.K. Enemkpali story, CBS Sports recently asked Fletcher if there was ever a quarterback that he wanted to punch in his NFL career. Without hesitation, Fletcher listed a former Bills quarterback.

Fletcher named former teammate and Bills QB J.P. Losman. He noted that Losman acted very cocky as a rookie for the Bills and that it made him want to punch him at times. Among opposing quarterbacks, it seems that Philip Rivers and Jay Cutler also rubbed Fletcher the wrong way. Here’s a look at Fletcher’s complete response.

Fletcher never acted out on his urge to punch Losman but at least he admitted that he thought of the idea from time to time.
