Buffalo Bills safety Corey Graham 'hopes' to play on Sunday against the New England Patriots.

The Buffalo Bills safety hopes to play on Sunday

Corey Graham lasted one defensive snap for the Buffalo Bills in Week 1 before exiting the game with a possible concussion after Frank Gore's knee connected with his helmet. Three days after suffering the injury, the safety sounds as though he's planning on taking the field with his teammates in Week 2.

On Wednesday, Graham was a limited participant in practice, but he's optimistic that he'll be ready to go on Sunday against the New England Patriots. Sal Capaccio of WGR-550 in Buffalo asked Graham if he expected to play this Sunday. Graham's response? "Hope so. That's the plan."

Buffalo's secondary played very well against the Indianapolis Colts without Graham in the lineup, but they'll be even better with the veteran on the field. Against the Patriots, the Bills need as much talent on the field as possible, and Graham is certainly one of the team's most talented 11 players on the defensive side of the ball.
